Robe Lake
Three standards-aligned, upper-elementary activities address the ecosystem, environmental changes and cultural significance of Robe Lake, near Valdez, Alaska. Designed to pair with Drones in Alaska, the lessons explore how drones can be used to analyze and restore a salmon habitat. Features a short video and other multimedia resources. Activity-based assessments are provided. Lessons are in English with key vocabulary translated into Sugt’stun. An online Alaska Native Language tool is available to support language usage in the classroom.
